![]() ![]() Jing is also the committeeman of Urban Design Committee of Zhejiang Province, leading the urban design practice and scholarly activities. Jing has been serving as a Committeeman of City Strategic Development Committee for Ningbo since 2016, reviewing all the major municipal projects for urban planning, urban design, and architecture. We are a community of solvers combining human ingenuity, experience and technology innovation to deliver sustained outcomes and build trust. As a reviewer, Jing has also contributed to the leading scholarly journals, such as The Journal of Architecture, arq: Architectural Research Quarterly, Journal of Urban History, and Geoforum. Most of Jing’s papers have appeared in the leading scholarly journals for architecture and urban design, such as Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, The Journal of Architecture, and Journal of Urban Design. Jing is the author of The Origin and Development of Dougong and Zaojing in Early China (2023), Chinese Urbanism: Urban Form and Life in the Tang-Song Dynasties (2020), and Heritage-led Urban Regeneration in China (2017, with Tim Heath). The Netherlands Cancer Institute is among the worlds best comprehensive cancer centers, combining innovative fundamental, translational, and clinical research. Jing’s research interest lies in the history and theory of the built environment, particularly focusing on the architecture and urbanism of China. Prior to joining UNNC, Jing has been teaching (design studios) and researching in UNSW since 2008. As a design-focused architect, he has been involved in a number of award-winning projects, locally, nationally and internationally.
